Omolade sorry I know I’ve left comments already but this just came to me. I remember when I was attending a certain church where there was a lot of man made traditions. Well I was out in town and had the need to use the bathroom desperately and the only place open at that time that I could find was a pub. I had to dash in and use the bathroom. Well when I was coming out you would have think I was a spy looking left and right when leaving hoping no one that knew me from church and I was feeling so guilty. Eventually I had to speak to one of my friends and she really upended my eyes by saying but Ronke God sees your heart and he knows why you were there and it’s God alone who is important and knows the truth. And I thought gosh that is so true

Walking with God is such a personal thing and we all need to work out our own salvation. The devil loved to find ways to make us feel guilty either by using other people or using our weaknesses and flaws. But the blood of Jesus cleans us continuously. I found when I wasn’t going to church for a while didn’t mean that I no longer believed in God but I was in transition trying to find a new place of worship and although I felt guilty I had to trust that I was still in Gods hands and that my life is hid in Christ. I have my flaws and will not always be right but God knows the way that I take and I answer to him whose mercy’s are new every morning. I hope this helps

Its still a lot to process, especially when you realise that so many practices were abusive, controlling and not Christ like at all...... Let me finish watching 😅

Used I believe on a young adult (teenager) by a middle-aged married family-man...toxic and covert method used by adults that needs exposing wherever it exists...perhaps a more subtle form of grooming less known in the adult world.

The thing is that leaving a church does not mean one has left God or your faith. Unfortunately there are some cults out there. God does say we need to work out our own salvation in fear and trembling and sometimes we have to break away from the traditions of men. I say this because unfortunately some churches are governed by their own traditions and not what the scriptures really mean or should I say what God really means

I'm 17 and 5 years ago I met a man around 35 years old on a mlp forum. He took me in as his friend during the worst times of my life. My parents supported are friendship and no one thought it was weird. His friends would gift me things and i felt loved for once. He gave me all the attention I desired. Guys please don’t go to this place all these influencers are not telling you the truth the place is awful. The chairs are mismatched and ripped tables are left dirty and the place is very unclean! the food takes forever to come out and in the end never came out! The drinks are not mixed properly! the staff are rude and aggressive!
